My photo work concentrates on the interplay between materials in the natural world — an interest borne through my study of physics and the way time creates new forms from old. Currently, I am examining models of entropy in unexpected, physical spaces. My work features rocks, minerals, and roots that have been shaped over long periods of time by the forces around them. In cooperation with this concept, I use exclusively analog processes to realize precise outcomes in my textured, detailed work.
